The Ymith Deception

The Golden Age of YNWK.org was a time of unity and prosperity, but, like all golden eras, it was not to last. In the shadows of the thriving community, a clan known as the Ymith watched with envy and ambition. The Ymith clan was known for their cunning and their ability to sow discord among those they sought to conquer. They saw the thriving platform of YNWK.org as a prize—a place of creation and collaboration they could twist for their own purposes.

The Ymith clan’s leader, Yason Ymith, devised a plan to infiltrate Discord. They knew they could not attack YNWK.org directly, for the strength of its community would easily repel them. Instead, they sought to weaken it from within by deceiving one of its greatest figures: Ythan Yobinson, the Gamemaster.

Ythan had always been loyal to YNWK.org, having created the legendary Random Guy and helped guide the community through the coup known as yEAh Games. However, Ythan was also known for his curiosity and openness, traits the Ymith clan sought to exploit.

Yason Ymith approached Ythan under the guise of a friend, claiming that his clan wished to contribute to the community by sharing their own knowledge and creative works. They offered Ythan a gift—an artifact of supposed great power, one that could enhance the games and creations Ythan had worked on.

“Let us share our wisdom with YNWK.org,” Yason Ymith said, his voice dripping with deceit. “We only wish to help your community thrive.”

Ythan, trusting in the goodwill of others, opened the gates of Discord to the Ymith clan, allowing them entry to the sacred space. It was a decision that would haunt him for the rest of his days.
